Sam joined StephensonLaw as an Associate Attorney in 2018. Sam joins the firm’s transactional team at StephensonLaw, focusing his practice in the areas of commercial and residential real estate law, corporate and business law. Sam assists clients in all stages of the real estate planning and acquisition process, from purchase contract negotiation to entity formation and closing.
A proud graduate of North Carolina State University, Sam received his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science in 2014. He thereafter received his law degree from Elon University School of Law where he graduated Cum Laude, finishing near the top of his class. While in law school, Sam was active in Elon’s Small Business and Entrepreneurship Clinic, where he advised early stage and existing businesses on a wide array of legal issues. Sam also served on Elon Law’s Moot Court Board, where he honed his skills in effectively advocating for his clients’ objectives. Additionally, during law school Sam worked in a variety of legal positions, ranging from city government to the legal department of a Fortune 250 company.
Sam truly enjoys practicing law and building positive relationships with his clients. Whether purchasing a commercial property or a first home, negotiating a complex lease, or starting a new business, Sam effectively advises his clients from start to finish in order to assist them in achieving their goals.
